Sheena MacLeod is a world famous award winning doll maker from Scotland. She uses authentic Scottish fabrics for dressing her dolls. This doll is a crofter's wife. She has a cloth over wire armature body with a moulded clay head with painted features. Her hands are also made of clay. Her hair is real lambswool. She is carrying a basket of seaweed on her back. The seaweed is used in the fields as fertilizer for the potatoes.
